TRAVEL AND PARKING

Please give yourself plenty of time to park and find the conference building.

Traveling by Car

From I-15 take Orem exit 269; University Parkway.

Directions from I-15 to free Trax/Bus parking:  the address you need for GPS is 1000 South and 1350 West, Orem Utah. Directions: Take I-15 exit #269 and turn West coming off the freeway toward Utah Lake. Drive along University Parkway to the first light, Geneva Road, and turn North (right). Drive approximately 3 blocks to West 1000 South and turn East (right) into the entrance to UVU West campus. At the far end of that road is a UTA transportation center/free parking lot for the Trax train and free bus pickup. (If you prefer to walk to the Keller building from this parking lot, there is a crosswalk/bridge directly at the end of W 1000 South that allows you to walk across I-15 to the UVU main campus - apx. a 10-15 minute walk).

Also available at the bus station on the east side of the parking lot there is a free Utah Valley Express (UVX) bus that runs every 7 minutes (be sure to check that you are taking the UVX bus and not the UVU shuttle (for which there is a charge)) that will drop you at a UVU bus stop just across the street from the Scott C. Keller Business Building (very first UVU bus stop after you leave the UTA transportation center and parking lot). From the bus stop, there is a connecting tunnel down the stairs and to the right, that takes you under the street to the Keller building.

Directions from I-15 for paid parking at UVU:  ($1 per hour - apx. 9 hours for the conference), the address for GPS is 800 West University Parkway, the main entrance to the UVU campus. From I-15 exit #269, turn East onto  University Parkway and immediately get into the left turn lane (first stop light on left side) to turn North onto the UVU campus. From the access road you will immediately approach a roundabout. Directly ahead is the Scott C. Keller Business Building, which is mostly glass and four stories high with the name across the top. The visitor parking lot is straight through the roundabout and immediately in front of the Keller building (see map).

If the parking lot is full, the employee parking lot directly West of this parking lot also has some visitor parking stalls on the East side of the lot. To assess this lot, drive out to the roundabout, turn right and stay to the right along Wolverine Drive, and then take the next right turn into the employee parking lot and drive back toward the Keller Building to the East end of the parking lot where there are more pay parking stalls.
